I have been waiting a long time to be able to write this post... in the mean time I have 37 drafts sitting in my folder waiting to be posted about the last 4 amazing months of our life.
Today 5-6-2015 WE FINALIZED OUR ADOPTION!
Today is our FOREVER DAY! Although it felt forever the moment we laid eyes on him.
The adoption world has been one of joys, fears, excitement, and ultimately unconditional love! Aiden was born on 12-31-2014! He was 5lb 7 ounces and born at 6:46 am with me holding our amazing, strong, and beautiful birth mother's hand and Jason sitting at the couch watching because he got dizzy! It is the perfect birth story, it is Aiden's birth story!
Today was a day of indescribable elation! When the judge announced that we are the official parents of Aiden Murphy Woodard. I could not help but look down at my beautiful baby boy and look over at my loving husband and thank God for all of the steps that lead to this moment. Aiden Murphy Woodard weight 16lb 9 ounces and was officially part of our forever family at 11:17 am on 5-6-2015! 
Thank you to all of our friends and family that have supported us in so many ways. Thank you for respecting our privacy when we needed it! Thank you for helping us become the best possible parents we can be! This is the best Mother's Day present that I could have ever dreamed!
Congratulations! My husband and I are in the infant adoption process too. We were finally paperwork approved by the end of the December and received a call from our agency at the beginning of April that we were selected by a birth mother to adopt her baby girl. However, due to several circumstances that occurred, the birth mother decided to not have us adopt her baby. This was a heartbreaking moment, but we are beginning to heal. We are trusting that God will lead us to another child. I found your blog on Facebook and we are looking forward to when we can be in the same place you are today!
